Just thought I would give an update. I decided to continue using AMSOil and return to the Signature Series (SS) Red Cap Multi-Vehicle formula from using the thinner Signature Series Blue Cap (Fuel Efficient) formula, since the Red Cap formula was a closer match to original Honda Z1 formula...

I have not performed a trans adaptation reset on the Pilot. I'll have to do some research on that process but I have to admit I am a little hesitant. Thanks for the info and good to know that is a option.

Hopefully this a fair thread to inquire as it is HPL ATF related. I have a 2008 Honda Pilot with 115K miles that originally specifies Honda ATF-Z1 transmission fluid. I have tried AMSOil ATF Red Cap and ATL Blue Cap (light formula). I think it ran and shifted better (smoother) on the AMSOil ATF...
