Sometimes that happens but if I am not centered I would still back in and then let the people in the lane go before pulling back out to re-align. But that's just me.
Probably not. It's pretty crazy you can get perfectly serviceable oil filters for like $3 when some companies are charging $40+ for a cabin air filter.
The waiting thing makes no sense. If you have to back out of a space, someone may have to wait and you may not even know it until you are halfway out, I don't see what difference it makes. I don't like making people wait in general but if they need to sit there for 5-8 seconds for me to back in...
Was true back in the day but with modern stability control and ABS systems the rears do a lot of the heavy lifting. I want to say pretty much every car I have purchased in the last 15 years or so (about 5-6 including my wife) the rear pads wear before the fronts or at least the same. I just did...
I find it hard to believe in four to six months you won't be able to walk into a store and be able to buy something to do an oil change with. So you may need to use a different brand or use 5w20 instead of 0w20, no big deal. Seems people need to constantly try to find things to worry about.
The factory interval is already extremely conservative.
This guy just did a UOA on a 37,500 km interval.

They’ve been on backorder for like a hundred years at this point 😕
I did buy it from Altrom. Was either these or Napa Proformer at almost double the cost 😱😆
I have been using this brand for air and cabin filters for a while now.
These were $3.61 at the local parts store. Supposed to be Subaru specific with the higher bypass, and they have a P style gasket too. No idea who makes them...
I noticed my X3M pan is metal while the B58 cars is plastic, not sure the difference really, I guess the M cars have higher power handling versions.
I would think the metal one would work fine especially since you're changing the filter (pickup) with it...
