I had one on my JK because there were a bunch of skid plates in the way, so I got the one with a nipple and connected a hose to drain. Was very convenient. Probably did 12+ oil changes with it over the course of 6-7 years.
From what I understand RA will only allow an alternate part number if it's the same part, just under different branding. For example a Premium Guard oil filter vs a Pronto.
I have to admit my ignorance didn't realize it was as easy to turn off a 787 engine as it is to turn off the engine in my car. I figured it was some 15 second sequence to shut the engines down.
Why would someone MacGyver their way into the cockpit, then Van Damme two pilots only to flip some switches and not just push the nose down? Makes no sense.

Vehicle is known for engine problems, this one is tuned with exhaust, cams etc etc and you're blaming the oil without even having the engine town down yet?
20 grade is probably not the best choice for the application but let's wait for tear down results before...
