    weird, KIA better than Hyundai?

I'm guessing Suzuki and Mitsubishi don't sell enough cars to make the list.

    Weeping Magnefine elimination

Only difference with a normal filter is that it won't have a magnet so may clog up quicker.

I changed the magnefine filter at 16k miles, it wasn't that dirty so I think I changed it too early. The service book says to change the oil at 65k miles, this is without the cooler and filter. The oil isn't in great shap after that long without a cooler or filter as it comes out really black...

    OCI and high oil consumption

Used to have a cheap 20w50 in there and changing to 10w40 seemed to make an improvement in performance. Its only got 75hp a lot of which is lost in the full-time AWD setup, combine this with having the aerodynamics of a brick and it's not hard to see why I can't afford to loose a few hp.

    OCI and high oil consumption

I'm running Penrite Everyday 15w40 but have some Shell HX7 10w40 lined up for the next oil change. I don't want to use a thicker oil as the engine runs extremely quiet and it may loose a bit of performance.

    OCI and high oil consumption

I have an engine that burns almost 1L of oil per 1000km. This results in me frequently topping off the oil. I'm wondering what effect this would have on the OCI (10,000km in service book). The car doesn't do many miles, it takes about 2 years to do 6000km. Would it be safe to just keep topping...

    Penrite HP5 5w40 7500 miles 125k. Mitsu V6

The car is not used for many short trips and regulary gets longs runs. I'm only planning on going to 15,000km (9500 miles) as per the service schedule. Only trouble is it takes me longer than 12 months to get there, hence the UOA. Unfortunately they didn't give me a TBN. I thought maybe they...
