I’d just wipe it out with paper towels, it uses a gasket instead of rtf, and it’s going to have dirty and clean transmission fluid in it a few minutes later.

Seems like a good deal for these days, especially from a dealer. Brakes, wheel bearing, taillight and fluid changes for a few hundred, then drive it for a while and see how it does. Some new clips or push pins might get the bumper straightened up so you can ditch that tape. Good luck with it.

Redline is similar in price to the zf fluids. I would stick to oe fluids if i knew which to get. I might try a fluid change with a universal fluid like maxlife over redline D6 just based on the lower cost of maxlife.
