2021 Ford Bronco Is Here, and It's Everything You Hoped For

My guess is it has to do with the emissions certification and/or engine programming. They already have that done for a MT for the Mustang. They have nothing like that for the 2.7 as no vehicle Ford makes has a 2.7 and a manual. Given how low MT take rates are it kind of makes sense.

2021 Ford Bronco Is Here, and It's Everything You Hoped For

Ecoboost 2.3 has been in the Mustang since 2015 and the new Explorer and Ranger . It is reliable. Ecoboost has been in the F150 since 2015 and is reliable 10 speed has been in the F150 since 2017 (?) and Mustang since 2018 and new Explorer and Ranger. I believe it is reliable at this point. The...

2021 Ford Bronco Is Here, and It's Everything You Hoped For

So you order it. Couple months and you have exactly what you want. Unless you need a vehicle right now that is the way to go. You get exactly what you want and know nobody else drove it. I've done it 2 times and it's not that bad. Jeeps are not budget vehicles either and statistically the Ford...

How come every vehicle's MPG computer is off?

They are not off. The hand calculation methods are the ones that are way off. You have no way of knowing how much gas you put in the tank at each fill up. For example. You drive 200 miles to 1/4 tank and fill it up to the first click and stop. You have no way of knowing how that pump was set...

    Where to buy trailer tires?

Local tire shop here did our new trailer tires. Very happy with their prices and service. In the end I got a set of 15" Carlisle Radial Trail HDs installed for a hair over $600.

Interesting to see how initial quality doesn't translate into long term dependability.

Apple Saying Goodbye to Intel Processors

I didn't watch the video but from what I read, Office ran well. I'm sure there will be some tweaks that may be needed but from what I remember about the PPC->Intel transition it wasn't that bad on the developers that were in the Xcode camp. It was those that were still using legacy compilers and...

Apple Saying Goodbye to Intel Processors

They announced it today https://www.macrumors.com/2020/06/22/macs-custom-apple-silicon/ They showed off Office, Adobe, etc running. For those on 100% Xcode it's as simple as check this box to compile for ARM. The iOS apps running natively is also huge news. It will probably work out well for...
