    Work SHOES? Any recommendations

Second the Red Wing boot suggestion. They are well built and at least used to have a good warranty.

Season 2 of Jack Reacher out on Prime today

Enjoyed season one, and was really surprised on how much better I like Alan Ritchson as Reacher compared to Tom Cruise. The TV series also struck me as more fleshed out than the books I have read.

    Towel Rack Blunder-Nothing Burger

My wife put a small table at the end of our driveway with a free sign on it and had no takers for 3 days. I told her people want something free if they think it is worth something, so I put a $10 label on it. It was stolen in broad daylight within 20 minutes.

    Goodyear's reputation

Goodyear Wrangler RTS came on my Dakota. Traction was good but 3 tires had to be replaced because of sidewall cuts, and that is not using them off road. Replaced with Goodyear Tracker II from WalMart, which went 60,000 miles with nary a hic-up.

Completely New Prius Prime. Now, proper& attractive

A friend ordered one 7 months ago, got it last month. Beautiful dark red and very sporty looking with performance to back it up. He picked it up at a local dealership where the staff and customers were ogling it. Sales manager said they had none on lot with none expected for several months.

Is wet spot on axle housing near the differential a cause for concern?

Looks to be pretty dry, so I would not worry. Check level periodically.

    Tune up time!

We had a LeSabre that went to the junkyard at 305,000 miles due to collision damage. That 3800 was the best engine I have owned. Lots of power, excellent fuel mileage, and very little oil usage. I want another one.

The scam continues: Why wind turbines are being re-powered at 10-years

Xcel is trying to get approval for a additional fee paid by residential users so they can build out car charging stations around the state they will retain and operate.

Fed Up with Driving a Manual Transmission?

65 years old and still prefer manual, even in traffic. Older daughter likes manuals, but younger daughter refuses to even learn to drive one.

    How water proof are sunroofs

My daughter's 2004 Mini had the drain tube come off the fittings. Had a thunderstorm dump a bunch of rain overnite, left a half inch of water on floor. Messed up navigation screen (computer is under passenger seat). Doing repair work as soon as weather warms up.
