    Meh. I think there’s tons of survival bias here. It’s a pretty tough climate and folks don’t have a lot of money to commit to maintenance. There’s a population that goes and goes for years but there’s a ton of dogs that have made their way to the scrap heap too. YMMV

    Costco Kirkland Organic Columbian Whole Bean Decaf has always been dependable. Nothing fancy, just really good coffee. Right now they're selling two 2-pound bags (4 lbs) for $55 ($13.75/lb). If you have the patience to keep an eye out you can usually catch it for $5 off or so. Good stuff.
