Getting ready to do mine again - rock auto has the ZF LG8 for $13 a liter, mopar filter for $42. Same on temp - was running mine hard in Sand Hollow last month, it was about 100F out and the fluid got up to 204F for a bit but other than that under 200F.

Planning on doing a pan drop soon on my JLU with the ZF 8 Speed. Had a shop do it once at 64k miles, at 120k now. Shop used the Mopar fluid before, thinking about getting ZF fluid this time. Is Lifeguard 8 or 9 equivalent to the Mopar stuff? Just want to make sure I get the right stuff. Thanks!

Here's another fun fact, got the cam/rockers repair covered by the dealer extended warranty I forgot that had came with the Jeep, submitted the invoice to them and they are mailing me a check.

It seems like with the PUG like we have it’s way more common to be bank 1 intake cam. The OG pentastar seems to be more randomized.

Update: Back on the road and running good after putting 60 miles on her! Old cam definitely had a custom grind going on. The real question is - keep on the 0w20 or try something else? Do have an extended warranty till 150k I figured out, so going to try and claim this.

I only use a pressure washer on my vehicles, anything else you risk leaving dirt on it. Dramm nozzles for everything else though!

TRD Off Road but no skid plates? Not familiar with Toyotas but I don't see a gas tank skid plate or tcase one. Are they missing or was is it an "up badge"? I know even like a Z71 or FX4 comes with a full set of skid plates.

Always have great luck with Gyeon leather cleaner and leather shield. Use a boar's hair brush to lather it up. Little bit of steam works wonders too.

I love the Wusthof classic line, have probably 10 or knives from that collection. Very nice and German made still.
