Yaris has a problem with the timing chain seal, nothing wrong with the oil. If it's under warranty get the dealer to fix it. If not, just run it as it's just a very slow minor leak and won't harm anything if you keep it topped up.

Redline makes the best 5w20 IMHO and I would run that in a heartbeat if it was cheaper. My vehicle calls for 5w20 as well, but Chrysler Canada have sent a letter stating 5w30 is fine in the 2.4L World engines. Good thing as our Walmarts have PP 5w30 on for $19 :)

I just put Mobil Super 2000 in my mom's escape as it has started burning a bit, have to wait and see if it works as advertised. I ran Maxlife in my old 1998 Cavalier, and it's still running like a top for the new owner.

It was worse when Fram actually made the Motomaster brand filters and that was the only choices we had there.....Fram or rebadged Fram :) I'd always get a charge out of the old kooks grabbing a Fram and I'd say "Buy the Motomaster...same thing, but a $1 cheaper". I'd usually get the "Pfffttt...
