I've had my 0w-8 toyota for 1 1/2 years. There was never much Ow-8 in the system to begin with. No big deal mine runs fine with 0w-20.

Well that is interesting your 5.0 coyote oil temperature does sound more reasonable. Makes me wonder if the guy's oil temperature gauge was accurate.

I would not use 5w-30 in a toyota hybird especially if you dirve around around town much and do short trips. These things struggle to get oil temperature up in warmer weather and it is worse in the winter months. The lighter weight oils are fine in toyota hybirds.

There was a guy on youtube with a 5.0 L Coyote engine mustang that had set up a oil temperature gauge on it. I was a bit shocked he was showing it reading 235 - 245 F on normal normal driving on the freeway and roads around it on a 80 F deg day. I would be tempted to go to a 0w-30 or 5w-30 on...

The Toyota 04152-YZZA1 is what I would use.

I would not use a motorcraft oil filter these days they been having issues for a few years. I'm using Mobil filter on my F150.

You will be just fine doing the filter every other oil change with those kind of miles. Been doing this for years with vehicles that don't get driven much.
