    Amsoil 0W-20, 18,502 miles (364 days), 3.5L Honda

Well, given the results, I guess I'll just continue to use the K&N filter in the mean time. It doesn't seem to be hurting anything. No sense in throwing $$$ at it when it doesn't seem to need it.

Thanks guys for interpreting it for me. I do appreciate it.

I've always been the type of guy who is much more concerned about the "inside" vs. the "outside". No polished white empty sepulchre’s here. So, thank you.

    Amsoil 0W-20, 18,502 miles (364 days), 3.5L Honda

Well, on 07-28-08 I added a can of Amsoil Engine Flush to the old Mobil 1 I had in my 2003 Odyssey (with 66,267 miles) ran it for 30 minutes and drained it hot (as the instructions indicated). I then replaced the oil with Amsoil 0W-20 and installed an EaO13 oil filter on it. I decided that I'd...

How Important is it to use Z1 ATF in a Honda?

Many people equate smooth shifting as a +. I will submit to you that is not always the case. Honda transmissions should not shift overly "smooth". Rather, they should be "crisp".....I don't mean like *bang* crisp. You should be able to clearly tell when the transmission shifts. Smooth implies...

    Magnefine ...

I just walked out into the garage and picked up one of the spare 3/8" Magnefine and gave her a twist.....and presto.....I'm looking at the donut magnet. I'll tell you, looking at it, it sure ain't obvious that it unscrews. I feel like an idiot for not figuring that out.....however, that's how I...

Amsoil ATF direct replacement for Honda ATF-Z1???

Again, to balance what seems to be the biggest issue with replacing Z1 with Amsoil ATF. It has nothing to do with the actual quality of the fluids themselves (other than your reason to get rid of the Z1). The issue is that people are afraid to loose any "goodwill" from AHC in the event of tranny...

    Looking at a used honda...

You could purchase an 04 Tortoise for about a 1/3 of the price with leather and only 61K miles on it. In my case, shear economics proved to play a bigger role than my ego. Saving nearly 10K is not something to laugh at. That's a lot of transmissions, and gas! Don't know about you, but we are...

    "Experts" On this Board

I've used Fram filters as well, with no problems. Honda's OEM filters are also made by Honeywell.
