ZDDP doen not get used up that is false. It is a last step additive to help the engine survive against metal on metal.
Think of it as a fire extingusher, It sits under you cabinet for 3 months its not getting used up, but when there is a fire you use it to avoid a catastraphe.

I have heavily modded XR 650L I use Rotella 15w40 and change every 500-1000 miles. My OCI is dependent on my Road/Offroad use.
Mine is setup 90% dirt 10% road, basically like riding a dirt bike on the street... good times.
