I used to use nothing but Mobil filters, but have since moved to using AC Delco filters without any problems. My son works at a chevy dealer so i get them cheap and i change oil every 3000 miles using Mobil extended oil.

I still use my craftsman i bought in 1978. I do drain it after every use. I have a smaller one for airing up tires. Now,what about air tanks that you can carry around ? I have an older one of these too and use it all the time.

I wonder if this would take care of the banging starting off from a dead stop ?

Could you please tell me what shift kit was used to fix this .?

I forgot to mention i changed the fluid and filter with Dex 6 and added Lube Guard Red with no help. Doesn't do it much, but would like to save the trans. Maybe the shift kit is the next move. Thanks !

Need some help with this please. 2004 bonneville 3.8 engine. Sometimes when taking off from a stop the transmission acts like it is not in drive. Bangs into gear when you give it the gas. And sometimes when very hot out it goes into high pressure mode. The banging into gear doesn't happen...

I have been using Adams Graphene wax on my white Tahoe with good results . Seems to last a very long time. i am gonna try this Chemical Guys Hyper wax next. It looks very good on my black motorcycle.

Isn't the Collinite 845 a carnuba type wax ? Don't know much about either of those. I do know that the Hyper wax is over the top for shine. I was a big user of Meg's teah 2.0 wax for alone time but it seem to draw in the dust to it. The Hyper wax stays clean all day long.

I would make the jump to 10w40 and maybe add a little Lucas oil stabilizer once. At thie point what's the difference ?

Don't anyone use 10w30 ? That's what i am going to run in my 11 Tahoe. We will see how it goes.

First DOD engines were in 2006. I have amonte carlo with the 5.3 DOD engine

Some say to just replace the rear glass. I would rather not have to do this.
