When I think of creaking, I look at suspension bits more than the brakes. Yes, it creaks when you apply the brakes and the suspension 'moves' at that same time too.

Have you gotten oil analyses showing this is an issue ? Pretty sure the fuel dilution issue, in fact I'm 100% sure, doesn't happen in the engine you have in that CR-V. It didn't start until the 1.5L turbo "Earth Dreams" engines.

Call them and ask if they'll install TPMS that you supply. They did for me a number of years ago - I bought VDO sensors and the local store did it for $15-20/wheel. Your example of using their Bartec supplied sensor is cheaper still though.

Probably still wasteful and overkill with modern synthetic oils.

I think what matters is the frequency the sensor operates at. As long as it matches what the vehicle communicates on, it will work.
