    Lubegard power steering protectant

The PS pump was getting noisy in our Pontiac Montana so I did a fluid extractor exchange with valvoline PSF twice with about a week of driving in between, and then added a bottle of Lubegard PSF protectant, and it has sounded and felt great ever since! Can't say enough about Lubegard...

    1996 Volvo 850 Turbo 5 Cyl

Thanks for the info. It has the 2.3L Turbo. The manual reccommends oil "Meeting API specification SG, SG/CD, SH or Energy Conserving (EC) II" and the visosity chart calls for 5W30 for +20C and below, 5W40 for +40C and below, 15W40 for -15C and up, and 10W30 for -20C to +40C. Very wide range...

    1996 Volvo 850 Turbo 5 Cyl

I should have mentioned that the car will be used mostly for short trips, and it has around 200,000KM on it. Is a HDEO required because of the turbo, or can you simply run a conventional 5W30 or similar?

The larger diameter drill bit you are able to use the better. Once done, soak it with some kroil, and use a large easy out to remove the bolt. Don't drill...

    Hyundai Power Steering Fluid PSF-3

Wow I'm glad they keep it simple and avoid confusion LOL. So I can use an ATF such as maxlife, or the new PSF-4. I wonder which would be a better choice? Plain old PSF is a no go then? Can't wait until I swap out the manual tranny oil LOL
