    Mobil Delvac 15W-40 in my '24 GR86

    I've been running 0w20 in my BRZ gen1. I drive it on the weekends and shift it above 6k a lot. I'm switching to 5w30 next OCI and getting the oil analyzed. thicker oil warms up faster tho, right;)

    Is an early oil change a good idea?

    I remember my motorcycle (first mode of transportation) said change oil at 500 miles and again at 1000 miles. I been paranoid about short oil changes everything since. but idk how a motorcycle relates to a car. so I could be off topic. 🤷🏽‍♂️ basically tho, my takeaway should be go by the book.
