CJ-4 is the American Peteoleum Institute (API) license for heavy duty engine oil. It’s a generation older than what most heavy duty oils are now CK-4. These oils are fully backwards compatible so no need to worry there and every iteration is done to improve performance.

If you mean outside lubricants I’d look at other petrochemical products to get an idea. Plastics have also significantly increased in price due to the conflict. I’m sure there are others, I know I’ve seen aluminum and argon mentioned as highly impacted materials.
In North America we’re largely...
What equipment is this going into? Those cartridges normally screw into an autoluber system and I’d think whoever you’re buying them from could sell you the required grease gun if you need one.
It looks like you’re in TX so I’d tend to stay with a #2 as you shouldn’t be seeing much on the low temperature end and it should pump just fine in the system.
I’d recommend either a lithium complex or calcium sulfonate like you’re looking at and if you prefer the high moly then stick with 5%...
Are you looking for some particular information? Most tractor hydraulics would be group II base oil with additives but nothing particularly exotic. Seal materials would be pretty much everything you’ve turned up already.
Ahh good point I forgot if you’re not already a customer DuPont/ Molykote isn’t really into talking to you.
Here’s the link to contact Krayden one of their distributors:

They should be able to help and I’d think be more prompt then the other option Chempoint.
Molykote has good tech support I’d just throw them an inquiry on the website. Make it sound like you’re an engineer evaluating options for a new product line and I’m sure you’ll get a faster response.
Here’s a couple options and both look readily available for ordering. I just googled “non detergent 10W” oil and got these. If these prices are reasonable or not I don’t really know
Rhinehart is a large well known Mobil distributor and definitely reputable. Are you somewhere on the front-range?
If you want pails price wise a big box store is likely your cheapest option. If you want a drum to do all 4 engine oil changes at the same time the distributor may be cheaper and...
After some digging I think this is an ISO 150 air compressor oil but maybe it’s an ISO 100? I’d shoot for a quality product designed for reciprocating air compressors either ISO 100 or 150 and you’ll likely be good to go.
Correct the higher the ISO # the higher the viscosity. Most reciprocating compresssors take an ISO 68 or 100.
You’d need to check your manual to see what’s called for in yours and what type of oil as well. Higher pressure and higher duty cycle units would call for a synthetic oil and see...
Here’s a good STLE article on ZDDP and why it’s so prevalent as well as alternatives.

Most of the time when I see ashless formulations it’s using a phosphorous antiwear/EP chemistry and no zinc or sulfur containing...
