looks to me that the mobil and k&n oil filters are identical???

the new ep filters seem identical to the k&n oil filters which have proven themselves to be great filters....the new ep filters are $7 at advance auto....they are identical in all aspects visually with the same f stamping on the base plate....

my moms 2001 expedition was hiccuping at idle and i changed everything trying to fix it. finally i cleaned the maf sensor and it idles smooth now. she has 90,000 on it and that definately fixed her idle....might try that??

silcon seems high?? i would check your air filter and connections...

havoline or chevron is a great oil and can last 5-6000 mile oci in most cars...i have run it in my nissan titan 5.6 v8 for 5,000 miles with great results...

german castrol ow-30, the new mobil ep 10w-30 or the new pp 10w-30 are all good choices......but should be good for 7500 oci easily!
