Yeah, well, the Mobil 1 idea makes me worry. I've had Redline MTL in for the past 60,000 miles. I just ordered some MT-90 and I'll see how that goes. Thanks, all, for the advice. Peter

Actually, lately the activity in the referenced thread on the Miatanet forum has not been due to the cost of Redline products, but insstead because a number of Miata enthusiests have problems with transmission crunching which aren't resolved by the "premium" products, i.e. Redline. Some folks...
