What base model 4x4 truck would you buy?

Nissan Titan. Doesn't have start-stop or cylinder deactivation. I've had good luck with Nissan products in the past, but don't know if they are as good as they used to be. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/42b57a41-c813-46b0-b58a-412adb0629eb/

    Opinions on 2014 Chevy Traverse

I bought 4 new Chevy vehicles from 1993-2011. They were comfortable and priced right. I also had a GM rewards card that saved me $3500 on each new purchase which kept me coming back for more. I suffered from every problem that is common knowledge now: 3.4 intake gaskets, 3.4 blown head gaskets...

    2023 Nissan Titan

I appreciate the discussion. Long term reliability is my main concern. I don't like start/stop systems, cylinder deactivation, or turbos for the potential problems farther down the line. I don't really need another vehicle at the moment, but I anticipate the Tacoma will loose its manual option...

    2023 Nissan Titan

I know, I miss those days. My local dealers asks sticker. Next door in Tennessee $6000-$8000 off, I'll test drive here and buy there.

    2023 Nissan Titan

It's funny how dealers operate in different areas. The Titan is probably the most discounted truck in a 250 mile radius from me. I haven't seen that it's officially discontinued, but I don't expect it to go much past 2024...

    2023 Nissan Titan

What's the word on the new Titan? I know Nissan's quality is not what it used to be, but it has some features I like: No Start-Stop, No cylinder deactivation, No Turbos. They sell so few, it's hard to do good research on the common problems. I know they have the 5 year/100K warranty, but I tend...

Silverado 4X4 4 cylinder review from Sarah, a former aerospace mechanic

I found her channel when searching for Xterra repair videos (she did a series on my exact truck: 2001 Xterra 5-speed). Her videos are really good. I like the project vehicle videos more than the new car reviews, but I prefer the how-to videos more in general.

    Turbocharged vehicles and start/stop systems.

Back in the 90's I had a 300zx twin turbo. A popular upgrade at the time was a "turbo timer", it would keep the engine running for a while after you turned off the key to let oil circulate and cool so the turbo bearings would last longer. Nowadays turbocharged vehicles are common and so are...

    2022 Tundra Crew Max

I went looking at a dealer that supposedly had 3, but none to be found. However, the few new Toyotas in stock all had a $2,000 mark-up. I'm really surprised you found one with a discount these days.

Car Shopping from home : Carvana and others ; How they compare ...

Givemethevin.com gave me the lowest offer and has been blowing up my e-mail and texts. I'm not selling, just curious what the offers would be. Our 2019 CR-V offer is $2,400 more than we paid new and our 2017 Accord is $800 less than what we paid new.

Carmax new 30 day return policy. What the catch?

I wonder how the sales tax would work if you returned the car?
