I bought 4 new Chevy vehicles from 1993-2011. They were comfortable and priced right. I also had a GM rewards card that saved me $3500 on each new purchase which kept me coming back for more. I suffered from every problem that is common knowledge now: 3.4 intake gaskets, 3.4 blown head gaskets...

I appreciate the discussion. Long term reliability is my main concern. I don't like start/stop systems, cylinder deactivation, or turbos for the potential problems farther down the line. I don't really need another vehicle at the moment, but I anticipate the Tacoma will loose its manual option...

I know, I miss those days. My local dealers asks sticker. Next door in Tennessee $6000-$8000 off, I'll test drive here and buy there.

It's funny how dealers operate in different areas. The Titan is probably the most discounted truck in a 250 mile radius from me. I haven't seen that it's officially discontinued, but I don't expect it to go much past 2024...

I went looking at a dealer that supposedly had 3, but none to be found. However, the few new Toyotas in stock all had a $2,000 mark-up. I'm really surprised you found one with a discount these days.

Givemethevin.com gave me the lowest offer and has been blowing up my e-mail and texts. I'm not selling, just curious what the offers would be. Our 2019 CR-V offer is $2,400 more than we paid new and our 2017 Accord is $800 less than what we paid new.

I wonder how the sales tax would work if you returned the car?
