no wet clutch, dry belt variator….. any major 10W-40 oil SG type or higher is recommended per the manual, this exceeds that.

I have a great middle ground for changing your own oil. I have a muffler shop a mile from my house. They charge me 30 bucks, I bring my own oil , bring my own filter, and stand next to the guy while he does it. It’s a perfect situation.

i’m using rinseless for about 12 years now, it is absolutely the cleanest, fastest way to do a car, I love Car pro Ech20 as my go to product. , definitely the Gary Dean method is the best way I think to do it. Find him on YouTube. It explains it all. I have never found it to scratch a car.

look around your area and on yelp for independant muffler shops. I have one near me that I’ve been using for several years and they are just outstanding. They change my oil with me standing next to the technician and guiding him, I can bring my own oil and my own filter, and they charge me 30...

back in the 70s, I had a six-year-old Fiat X19. I was all excited to try this new oil called Mobil 1 so I went out and bought the appropriate amount and a new filter and changed over. The engine leaked like a sieve all over my garage floor… At that point, no one knew exactly why it did it...

I have a new 24 Vette and now Chev calls for the first oil change to be at 7500 miles. I tried and tried to resist, but I just couldn’t give up my old man habits, and I did my first change at 3500… Surprisingly, the oil was very clean looking.

I don’t wanna do that. My next oil change is at 7500 miles, I now have 3000, and it is free from GM. Don’t ask why they pick up the 7500 oil change, but they do. So that means that after that somewhere around 12,000 or so, so I would use up the other, extra “stash”…..And that could be years...

I looked at that, they want $7 delivery fee no free shipping under 35 bucks and it is not available for pick up. so it ends up to be 17 bucks…. I can find pup for seven or eight bucks local… i’ll look at Mobil 1 ESP.

I am going to do my first oil change on a Corvette C8. It calls for a Dex-r 0w- 40 Mobil 1 “supercar” which are not that expensive and come in lots of six. However, if you need individual qts,, they are like 25 bucks… Go figure… I have one quart unopened, and 6 quarts on the way. It takes 7.5...

sorry, not a sci guy, I assume a larger number is better for kinematic viscosity?
