'91 Peugeot 309, weird whine coming from either the clutch or transmission

So I think I got it figured out by now, but I'd still like a second opinion before I make my parts list ready, so far this forum's been the most helpful when it came to all my issues. So it sounds kind of like a worn alternator bearing, or wind whooshing by you. but it's not that. It's most...

Is your tool chest/tool area well organized?

Usually it's organized, until I need to work on something all day, then it's all thrown on piles afterwards.

What joke has your car pulled on your for April Fools?

Mine decided that it would be a great prank to make me sweat all the way home by making the cabin fan die today. I sprayed the vent holes with WD-40 and I'll just hope that'll unstuck the fan or something. Has your car been good to you today or do you regret ever buying it today?

    No carbon here.

Oh boy I wonder what my 30 year old Peugeot which I drive like an old nanny will look like after I take the valve cover off one day.

Drive in silence or need some noise?

Let me put it this way: I bought a car, it had no radio, it also needed major service: carb, oil, coolant, etc etc. FIrst thing I did was get a radio and install it, didn't care about anything else, just had to get a radio in the thing.
