From what I can tell, you can order HPL ATF Teal (color) for ~$25/quart (6-quart minimum) online. Once several reputable sources confirm that's an acceptable substitute, I will try it in 3 years. Ultimately, I'm looking for something approved, cheaper, and easier.

I called my Nissan dealer. With tax, they want $44 a quart for Matic P fluid. He said Matic P is very new for Nissan. Matic S has been around since 2004 but Matic P is only 4 years old on their books. I'll wait for a substitute to hit the market.

Yes. I have a 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro4x. As far as I know, the Mbenz 9G-Tronic and the JATCO JR913E are identical. Perhaps you know differently. It will be 3 years before I want to drain and fill my tranny.

Thanks. Do you have a more compelling reason? "you can use Maxlife with no problem" is too general. I saw these 9G Tronic trannies cost $13,477 so I don't want to be the reason it fails.
