NAPA has been sketchy on their battery warranty for a while now. Go by what you have in writing, I don't think printing out the webpage would help.

Ya, I have always been able to bring oil up when flood clear cranking. It just struck me as odd that I can't prime the system. The ones you have done did they have the gerotor oil pump on the crankshaft snoot?

Ok, the gauge is not the issue, the lack of oil during cranking is. As I said in my original post, I can crank it 20 sec, then check the oil level & it hasn't moved. If it's pulling oil, the level will drop because it filled the system. If I start it, then the level is lower when I check it...
