I tried to pull-start my generator when it was -5 degrees with 10W-30 in it, and it was really hard to pull thought I was going to break the cord. Drained the10W-30 out after the power came back, refilled with 0W-40, it pulled a lot bettera few days later a 0 and I never used anything else. It...

I would have to use it when it was still under warranty, and the power was on, just to see what it can really do. This would possibly find any problems, complete the break-in, get the maintenance figured out, and just be ready to use it before you really need it. I would have a hard time running...

WOW, to clarify the topic of rust in this thread: the rust was on the fastening screw and threaded hole, not the screw removal tool. I would not recommend leaving any tool out where it is exposed to rain or other conditions that could damage it. :love:
