Extractors are so much easier but way slower; no crawling around, and you don't have to do it all at one shot. Just take your time measuring what comes out, letting the extractor and hoses drain for an hour minimum. Suggest a large graduated pitcher and an empty 5-gallon pail 5000mL (5 Liter)...

I use an extractor a lot when I want to do a partial drain and fill, and definitely with transmissions that have no drain plug, so much less mess. Get an accurate measurement of what you extract and put that amount back.
