If they were that bad I'd expect to have a hard time getting around town because the roads would just be littered with broken down cars. There are millions upon millions of cars running these filters without issue.
I don't have any experience with Infiniti but sometimes a manufacturer does step up and help even after the warranty. My brother in law bought an Acura MDX used. The transmission failed a few months out of warranty. The repair was going to be $8-9k. He reached out to a local Acura dealer who...
Replaced a leaking V-Tec solenoid gasket on the Honda today so I went ahead and did an oil change since I was already removing the oil filter for easier access to the bolts. Refilled with Castrol GTX Synthetic and a Honda OEM oil filter.
There are a couple of primary reasons that this would be concerning to a bank. One being from a lending perspective, not knowing the source of the cash could indicate that he borrowed the money from someplace/someone which means they don't have a clear picture of his financial obligations...
I had both fail back to back right about the time I graduated high school. Chevy S-10 Blazer with the 2.8 V-6. The transmission failed first. Engine seemed to run okay so I took it to AAMCO for a transmission rebuild. A couple of months later the engine started making a lot of clatter from the...
Replaced a failing ignition switch in the Honda and finished upgrading from the 51r battery to a Group 35. Used a universal battery tray and hold down kit and the larger ground cable that comes standard on the V-6 model Honda's. Seems to be a highly recommended upgrade on the Honda forums. Went...
I have a subscription for unlimited washes for both cars through Russell Speeders which also gives us access to their vacuums and interior cleaning products for about $30/mo. per vehicle. I think it's a good value.
$20k could still buy a decent Rav4 or CR-V. It just wouldn't be as new. I would lean in that direction. I've personally had good luck with the Hyundai products that I have owned but it's undeniable that the manufacturer has had some significant issues lately. I wouldn't rule them out as a...
I have two Honda mowers. The nicer one was a 2018 model HRX something or other self-propelled that I bought in 2019. It has been trouble free. I also have an older Honda that I picked up on Marketplace for $20 for my son. I believe that one is about 15 years old or so. I bought it with the...
It's just a mileage counter for 7500 miles on our Forte. Not sure if newer ones are different. It can be set to different intervals but 7500 seems to be the default. I just described them collectively as maintenance minders.
