The reason I am asking is the vehicle is used for short trips only (15 miles or less). Not sure if there's any benefit in using thicker grades.

Both Castrol and Valvoline only sell engine oils in Pakistan. They don't have CVT fluid offerings. Amsoil do sell CVT fluid, but it's very expensive. Almost equivalent to Honda OEM HCF-2 fluid. I found Havoline CVT fluid for a very reasonable price. This is why I am asking about it.
