Just as a quick update, the car seems to be using 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles. Hopefully that diminishes after we clean it up some. Next oil change in about 500 miles. Oil is VERY dark.

The better question to ask is why where they allowed to do it twice? News report, this is the 2nd time!
