First time doing Mozimbique Drill with the Beretta 92xi.
2 things/excuses:
1. I should have slowed down going from torso shots to head shot.
2. Having shot ONLY red dots for over a year straight, I'm getting used to irons again.
With that out of the way, I LOVE this Beretta. Such a smooth...
Took the 92xi back out to the range with a coworker.
The Beretta shot SO smooth. I've done hundreds of dry firing practice since last session and the trigger and everything seems to be well broken in. It's the lightest trigger I've got in the stable. Return on target is effortless. Super happy...
Honestly, I don't mind the vertec grip since it is the same/similar geometry I'm used to of the 2011 I have. Just more slim of a profile, which has proven easier for Conceal carry than my 2011. I can wear slimmer shirts without printing.
Can't wait to take it back out to the range this next...
As a 1911/2011 enjoyer, I decided to get the SAO Beretta 92XI (9211) tactical with the suppressor sights and threaded barrel. It's a great shooter. Very accurate. Not AS soft shooting as my Tisas DS Duty 1911 but I think once I get used to the trigger and grip, I'll like it better than my Tisas...
2022 Subaru WRX
49,633 miles on car
26,300 miles since last Rear diff and Front diff/Manual transmission fluid change.
Fluid looked really good.
Put in fluid in rear diff until it flowed back out of the fill port. And just under 3 qts into the transmission which also has the front diff in it.
This tisas is a double stack 1911 (2011) that has a modular grip. So different than the typical 1911.
Tisas has been around since 1993 and makes quality stuff overall. I'd say the tisas of today would beat RIA of 15 years ago since there are no MIM parts and forged steel is used.
