I figured out the oil level issue. The ‘1.9’ in the manual is pints not quarts. So it’s only supposed to hold a little less than 1 quart.

I topped it off with Valvoline 20w50 today and it’s visibly much thicker than the 30 when pouring out of the bottle. We’ll see what happens after I run it.

I can assure you that my engine uses 10w30 MUCH faster than straight 30w. I don’t know enough about it to explain though.

The part in the picture is a “pcv fresh air tube”. It doesn’t have a traditional pcv valve. I went through the troubleshooting process and it seems to be functioning properly.
