Part II of my mortgage question - how to select a broker?

Ask for a good faith estimate of closing costs. His fees should certainly be there. Ask about length of locking in the rate and points for settlement. Odds are, rates are going to go up. Do they have an up front fee for locking in?? Can you reasonably expect to settle with in the lock in time...

Yet another mortgage / credit question..

As a former loan officer I would advise you to find a good loan officer. Questions like "How long ago", "Whats in the divorce decree", and let me run an in-file" (which it sounds like you have already done)come to mind. How much down you putting, how much cash in the bank after settlement, etc...

    Iraqi prisoner "abuse" issue

Bugsii, I introduced that battle to show what a lousy bunch of soldiers the NVA were. You might be of Vietnamese extraction and that may be a bitter pill for you to swallow. The Chinese getting beat trying to invade fortified areas of N Vietnam is no big deal. The Chinese are not that good...

    Iraqi prisoner "abuse" issue

Bugzii, The battle of Mon Mak Moon occured around 1980. If you try googling you might find references for it. I know about these things cause I have "friends", the rest of the world tends to ignore Yellow on Yellow wars, in case you hadn't noticed. Essentially, it was a 2 division thrust into...

    Iraqi prisoner "abuse" issue

Sorry Bugzii you got it all wrong. There were a lot of ways to win the war, it's just that Democrats were in charge. For starters, one could have simply allowed the Thai to go into Laos and cut the Ho Chi Minh trail. There was nobody to stop them; just ask your family members in the NVA. The NVA...

    Iraqi prisoner "abuse" issue

The problem with VietNam Pitbull, is that it was easily winnable from just about any way you want to look at it. We Did pull out and Vietnamization worked. In 1972, the NVA were soundly defeated by US airpower and the SVA. Unfortunaltly, the Democratic controlled Congress and knew that if a...

    Iraqi prisoner "abuse" issue

A Time for Apologies 08 May 2004 KurdishMedia.com - By Vahal Abdulrahman The photographs of Iraqi prisoners being mistreated at the Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad show an utter disregard for human rights. They are disgusting in every sense of the word. That said, the Bush administration’s...

    Iraqi prisoner "abuse" issue

More Comments from Iraq the Model blog: IRAQ THE MODEL Thursday, May 06, 2004 :: Some of the readers asked about my opinion about the interviews that GWB gave to Al-Hurra and Al-Arabeya TV channels and since I'm a CIA agent (I'm thinking of leaving them to work for the Mossad. I've heard they...
