    Industrial/Commercial Anti-gel

The treatment recipe is 1 gal of anti-gel to 2500 gallons of fuel, so its about an ounce to 20 gallons.

    Industrial/Commercial Anti-gel

So, I am being gifted some anti-gel that fuel-delivery companies pour into tanks at gas stations. Its considerably more concentrated/treats more gallons than anything you buy in the store. I figure I could put an ounce or less of it into a quart of 2-stroke and still be ok if treating fuel as if...

Those with 150,000 miles or more, check in

Been off the board for quite some time now, but was here long enough to discern what I felt really mattered in vehicle lubrication. Felt I could contribute my experience. Bought my 2008 Pontiac grand prix at the end of 2008 with ~20,000 miles. Crankcase: For the first three years, I used...

    F-150 U Joint replacement

Did the job last night. I went to the AZ again and they still did not have the ball joint press; For everyones benefit, the puller thing wasn't so hot. so it was up to basically just a hammer, sockets, a couple pieces of wood, and the ground. After dickering with the puller for awhile, I just...

    F-150 U Joint replacement

Agreed. I have actually used the autozone kit to do both a U joint and a ball joint - The availability is the issue - I live in the sticks. I'm just wondering about the puller.

    F-150 U Joint replacement

So i have to replace the u joints on my 97 F150 - Couple of questions- I have a 5 ton 2 jaw puller that I intend to use to press in/out the caps (with an appropriate socket used on the end to drive evenly). Is there any reason that this would not be appropriate? I know that many people use a...

Rotella 5w-40 in palce of SAE 30

Is there any reason to believe that Rotella 5w-40 would not be a great all season oil for my Husqvarna B&S mower that specs SAE 30? If so, I'm thinking I will also use it in my next f-150 OCI. 2 gal would do the trick for both perfectly.

    Smoke and stall...

Ok, I have a hand me down huskee lawn mower with a 17.5 HP B&S intek I/C. If i am mowing on a steep-ish angle, "passenger side" down, I get a [censored] load of smoke and a stalled lawn mower - I assume this is oil burning. If i avoid this situation, in effect by keeping extreme angles to the...

Just curious, what is the % makeup of foreign/domestic out there? Not surprisingly, We are mostly domestic here, and that's been my experience for most of flyoverland.
