1) I'm surprised you got a majority of dealers to respond to you offer

Their prices on 5 qt jugs of Fram are still not worth a sniff. $14.95 for conventional and $20.95 for full syn. :ROFLMAO:
One of the better deals remaining is the 12 oz. PSF for $0.85.
You bought the car with 190K miles and have done your first D&F at 220K miles. Any idea of the maintenance history and if SP-III has always been used? What was the condition of the fluid that came out? Burnt smelling? You should celebrate that tranny has lasted that long, is the vehicle a 4 cyl...
I ran 5W-30 or 10W-30 in the 304 V8 in my old CJ-7 depending if summer or winter with no issues. Sounds like a nice rig you have. If your fuel lines are original or older, be sure to replace the fuel filter with every oil change.
Rarely does the clerk not comment and say to me " Wow, $xxx for XYZ is a great deal" telling me 1) they had no idea of the deal 2) Possibly leading to pilphering or self-dealing for them or their buddies had they known. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to most folks on #2.

When I re-worked the entire suspension on my 2002 E430 (W210) about 20k miles ago, I used TRW front upper and LCA, a combination of MB and Lemforder rear components and black Bilstein shocks. The subframe bushings may have been Febi or Meyle. All working great.
Meaning insulation on the pipes inside the "box" and anything exposed. One more pro tip: When people in Alabama say LA, they mean Lower Alabama, not Los Angeles.
