Re-upping with OE tires is rarely a good idea unless you have an AMG or M series.

I tear the box top off the oil filter and write date/mileage of oil changes, all filters, plugs, transmission service and keep it in the center console of the car. Not very tech savvy but better than nothing. Older cars will have 4 or 5 box tops as service history.

I kept a can of starting fluid in every carbureted rig I owned. Saved my bacon many a time out in the woods. The Carter (Edelbrock) 600 CFM would sometimes belch fire for good measure.

Where I live, high pollen in the spring, I replace cabin filters each year AFTER the pollen has gone. You'd be amazed what they look like coming out.
