Who makes BMW's "store brand" oil?
Forgive me if not allowed to post links but all I could find was this not sure how credible they are but seems maybe the parts guy at the dealer was right as it also mentions all dealers will have the updated stock by april. From what Ive read BP/Castrols 5 year contract with BMW started in 2021...- edlhan

Who makes BMW's "store brand" oil?
Im in New York, that would be the new updated LL01FE 0w30 part number as up until now the castrol version was 83215A2AF99 which was my fill past 3 years. Hmm just like everywhere else that link mentions *Replaces part # 83-21-5-A2A-F99- edlhan

Who makes BMW's "store brand" oil?
Went to my local BMW dealer to pick up some TPT 0w30 LL01-FE (Castrol) only to be told the part number has changed to 83215B7FDD1 along with the supplier which is now Shell and shipments of the new oil will be coming in 4/1. Tried searching online and couldn't find anything about Shell- edlhan
