Walmart EV Charging Network - Finally Under Construction!

Walmart opened 5 charging locations just yesterday. Finally got a chance to charge there recently at an ABB A400 equipped site (vs the Alpitronic HYC400 sites). “Dry” cables. No liquid cooling - for better reliability. The CCS1 connector uses a two-phase pin cooling system to output 600A...

It seems like they’ve been doing LYRIQ first and then working...

United flight lands at Luke AFB because of severe weather at PHX.

Nice work. You gotta-do-what-you-gotta-do sometimes. I’ve had Elmendorf AFB listed as an alternate when flying into Anchorage. I’d prefer not to do that - sounds like a hassle to me…

Chevy and Cadillac essentially have no new EVs planned

The Cadillac CT5 is a sedan that is currently in production. Production ends at the end of 2026, with a 2nd-gen CT5 (and Buick sedan and some form of new-Camaro) coming soon. The CT5-V Blackwing is one of the best sports sedans ever made.

Chevy and Cadillac essentially have no new EVs planned

👍. There’s even rumors of GM starting to build next-gen models off their Chinese-market EV platforms. OPTIQ specifically to start. Possibly the 900v platform on the new Buick Electra E7. Tons of upgrades to be had without “new models”. New batteries and next-gen platforms are coming. Equinox...
