Yes, very interested. Also, should I replace with new the metal tube? I know there is a URO rebuild kit, but haven't heard great things about URO (though also concerned since the tube is pretty expensive).
That is what I am looking at. This poor T6 has a PCV issue, though (oil everywhere, failed glove test), so it is slightly dissembled right now while I replace the applicable parts...
There is around 184k miles on this. The oil is an unknown 5w30 (car was recently bought at auction):
Iron (Fe) 17
Chromium (Cr) Lead (Pb) Copper (Cu) 3

I did and although they told me the ratio earlier, they couldn't do anything definitive (on paper).
Let's just say the dye matters since, if RP is added to diesel fuel, it could make such fuel appear to be offroad dyed diesel fuel.
Here is a slightly different question - I am trying to figure out the concentration of dye in Royal Purple (and perhaps its chemical make-up). At one point I received some information that there is approxiametely 4 ounces of dye in a 55 gallon drum. However, I am looking for something more...
When did you change last?
I just changed mine in a car that I don't think the fluid was changed (at 70k). Went with Walmart's High Mileage ATF for two quarts and two quarts of Maxlife I had remaining. Shifts have smoothed out quite a bit.
Now, compared to Amsoil - I'd go with Amsoil. But the...
Hmmm....well then I guess my original question will go unanswered.
All I know is my shifting has smoothed out a bit since I swapped some of this in....
