    Walmart oil prices - Ah!

Farmingdale. Seems it's still showing the lower price while the others got updated.

    Walmart oil prices - Ah!

My local walmart jacked up the price for a single jug but the 3 pack is still 29.97.

What can Valvoline do to top Restore and Protect?

One thing Valvoline could do is sell an additional product named "Valvoline Protect" which contains the exact same oil for the exact same price. There seems to be a segment of the population that will not use Valvoline Restore and Protect because they "don't need the Restore" and can't see that...

Is it legal to have 2 copies of your driver's license?

In NY, I was able to order one for $14 after my previous license cracked in my wallet. I didn't have to give any reason and both were identical and legit.

Another Valvoline Restore and Protect result - 2015 Subaru

What were the results? I don't see any listed besides a moderator edit.

    How does a modern 5w30 compare to a 1990s 10w30

My worst case was 300 on a roadtrip which prompted me to start trying to fix it. Driving around town was closer to 600 miles a quart. I tried a bunch of various additives like MMO, BGR etc and it kind of hovered around 1K when Valvoline Restore and Protect went in. Edit: I just noticed you...

    How does a modern 5w30 compare to a 1990s 10w30

My GS350 burned a quart in 300 miles on the highway at one point. It took two Valvoline Restore and Protect changes of 5K each to take it back to not burning at all. I didn't feel any change in power generation.

    Valvoline Restore and Protect

I've also seen the Valvoline Restore and Protect jugs hidden behind other non-Valvoline Restore and Protect jugs and had to dig around a bit to find the 5W30 variants. It almost feels like someone is hiding them intentionally as some form of "hoard-without-buying" scheme. I wonder if it actually...

EVs Outsell Pure Gasoline Cars in European Union for Dec 2025.

I agree with this. The headline might as well be "100% of all cars sold are EVs" since we have had electric starters in gas-only cars too for over a 100 years.

    2025 Lexus RX350h Review - Yuck

I've been disappointed with the Mark Levinson system in my car as well (IS500). My previous car was a base model 2007 GS350 with the JBL system and it sounded nicer in both music and talking. The JBL system had a lot more options for adjusting the sound as well as being much easier to access.

    parking brake use

I have always used the parking brake before, along with turning the wheel to face the curb. Even in my garage, I do the same things as parking outside just to build the habit. Habit building is important here as well. I realized this when I first started parking in my garage and didn't bother...

Height of "Manny" Car Care Nut?

He says he's 5'7" in almost every review when showing the rear seating.

    Vehicle Sighting - ('70s?) Mercedes Benz 300D

My aunt had an '85 300D Turbo Diesel since new and I took my driving test in it! Beautiful car and was fantastic on the highway. It had almost 300K miles and still sounded and looked new. It was rear-ended once and wrecked the other car. Eventually, while parked in the airport lot, the dealer...

    Valvoline Restore and Protect skepticism

I posted in the big Valvoline Restore and Protect thread about my 2007 GS350 going from a quart/1000 (worst was a quart/300) miles to not burning at all within two oil changes of 5K each. I'm fortunate that my engine didn't get scoring on the cylinder walls as it was burning heavily from about...

Can I trust ordering from walmart?

Ugh, I've been equating quarts and liters all along. Thanks for the correction!
