He still has his Witt’s about him, he doesn’t do anything under the hood. He will usually ask myself or a shop/dealer to do it for him(even for Windshield washer fluid), which was why I was worried about possible sabotage.

I was referring to the way the oil coagulated(texture and appearance) not the engine it happened in.

Pickup is actually really easy to clean on these cars, it’s what’s in the rest of the oil galleries that worries me

Partly why I’m concerned someone may have dumped a bunch in to sabotage the engine

I did the last one at the end of April, at that time oil drained perfectly fine,approx 5 litres came out, I know this because the old oil went into the jug the new stuff came out of. I’d say since the change he’s driven about 6000kms(3700miles)

I’m honestly not sure how many miles it triggers at for Canadian cars. I would assume it’s likely the same as US but would have to check.
