    Total INEO deal 504.00 507.00

Not in stock at the two Advance Autos near me or I'd go and check. Indeed it is showing a price of $45.99 on-line.

New "Secret" Date Codes for EverStart Maxx Batteries?

I was at Walmart the other day and I noticed that some of their EverStart Maxx batteries have something of a secret date code (i.e. K4, J6, etc) rather than the obvious numeric date code (i.e. 11/22, 1/23, etc). Any idea how to decipher the alpha-numeric codes?

    Project: DuckHead Arm

Thanks for the feedback. I've watched some videos that confirm much of what you're saying. Some people drill holes in the base plate so that the wheel can be bolted down snugly. Obviously that involves a few different holes for different patterns. Alternatively, you can now buy a cone for easy...

    Project: DuckHead Arm

How's this been working out for you Ray? Does it allow you to do larger than 16" wheels? Any chance you'd like to make another and sell it?

"Time" as an oil change indicator (vs. mileage)

I realize this site has largely debunked the notion of using a definitive mileage indicator for oil change intervals. The type of driving certainly matters. But what about "time"? The oft-stated standards of mileage often comes with a time interval listed as well - i.e. "5000 miles or 6 months...

Why no HDEO offered in 5 qt/lt Packaging?

What's the story with all the HDEO's being offered in 1 gal containers, while most of the other "car" oils are offered in 5 liter? I've got 3 different engines that I'll be using a HDEO in, and their re-fill capacities are 10 qt, 5 qt, and 2.5 qt. See my point????

    CJ-4 Flash Points

Figures, as just last night I bought 4 gallons of Rotella T 15-40 in favor of the Delvac 1300 which sat beside it onthe Wal-mart shelf (and ironically enough, was priced a few pennies cheaper). I realize there are lots of factors to consider - any points favoring the Rotella T over the...
