I did use M1 5W30EP with a M1 filter in my 2001 Tahoe for over 10K miles. Engine had 70K miles. Kind of wanted to see "what would happen." Anyway, sent the oil off to Terry for analysis. The results were very poor. I don't use M1 anymore.

Civic Fan, A Wather PPK has a very hard slide (stiff spring). The S&W Model 60 is an excellent choice. Remember that even with a gun designed for .357 you can shoot a .38 but you can't shoot .357 in a .38. The 60 is my choice. Cheers, Doug

Mystic, How much oil did you use on your Glock? It only needs about three drops total. Dry is better for a Glock. Sig's are wet guns, Glocks are not.

I use PP 5W30 in my Tahoe and tow a 28' TT in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. I also use FP and LC for added protection (IAW UOA recommendations).

Chris, I don't really know about the difference - other than what is published - but I did notice that the FP Plus is thinner than the FP60 and the ratio is 1 oz to 10 gallons, so you use less. It's new so it's got to be better!

UPDATE: I used to have a Kimber. I traded it for a S&W 629 Performance Center 3". No regrets; never really felt that comfortable with the Kimber. I am a dinosaur Wheel-Gunner!
