Miami would be the place Homestead even better, yep this nasty weather up here adds to the misery wipers frozen to the windshield ice accumulating in your rims making it feel like you're riding on square wheels oh I love southern USA
PBM,
Thank you VEREE MUCH you just chilled me out big time (your post that is) I have had some 12 quarts of GC 0W-30 in my basement from 2006-2007 and decided to use it for my current oil change in my 2009 Saab 93 (2.0 Turbo). I was worried that the oil may be too old ie. some properties would...
I don't know if he tried to get the dealer to fix it, seems not bad enough to get it looked at under warranty. Just wonder if RedLine in 75W-140 flavour is ok to use in his car, I know that a lot of late M models call for 75W-140, so it should be OK to use in his 335 IX.
Do you guys know ofany...
Hello,
My boss complains from noissy differential in his BMW 335 someone suggested to try 75W-140 , the manual calls for 75W-90 isn't this too heavy?? Also he wants to use RedLine any other good choices out there??
Thanks

Friend of mine has got a 2011 Cayenne local stealer quoted $400 CDN for oil change. The sump and filter hold about 7 litres at such price he's debating doing his own changes at least between the prescribed (1year 20,000km)intervals but he's wonderning if there is any funky procedures involved...
BigTallV,
Thaks for posting your reports, one question was the FS inyour previus repost Formula Shell and if so was it synthetic or the white bottle mineral? (or Motomaster silver bottle CT brand maybe?). Impressive TBN retention with the PP
Danh,
I also bought my '02 Acura CL Type-S with 45,000 miles (73,000km) prevoius owner (leassee) never changed the ATF as thee manual calls for change at 140,000km. First thing I had done was drain a refill 3 times (with Z-1) then like Blokey twice a year drain and refill alternating between...
Hmmm.... Interesting, lot of these cars with the same engines would have suffered increased engine wear, spun bearings and all other misery if run with such thick oils.
Currently 15W-40 in my Acura CL type S (waiting for it to die)
