    BMW V8 Oil Consumption Fix

EDIT: TOTAL 10w-60 Yes, I mentioned the "kit" in my first post. No one locally does the job using the "kit". Even so, I didn't want to put another $2k into the car before trying the TOTAL oil fix which worked. No, we don't keep our cars much past 75k miles. Knowing about the oil smoke problem...

re: Changing synthetic oil too soon

Oh, I'm well aware that oil discussions, specifically "interval" discussions are approached with the same passion as creationism vs the neodarwin synthesis. I just want a link to some pertinent threads. :)

re: Changing synthetic oil too soon

I know it's been frequently discussed here, but could someone post a link to discussions related to synthetic oil performing "better" with change intervals beyond 3,000 miles? thanks

    Coolant filter (INLINE)

I've been fighting heater core contamination in my '95 LT1 Ratmaster wagon. I'm currently running a Rube Goldberg, inline fuel filter to catch rust and scale particles, but if I can locate a convenient place for the Wix spin on system, I'm going to purchase it even if it is a little pricey.
