I'm late to the party. I own a 2018 FK8 - did a couple used oil analysis with AMSOIL Signature Series - got great wear numbers with SS 5w30, but didn't try other brands. Mobil 1 ESP 0w30 or Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 would be solid choices as well...

I've done used oil analysis on 3 Honda engines, all of which spec 0w20, and consistently gotten lower wear metals with 0w30 and 5w30 compared to 0w20.

I do mostly highway, and try to drive gently, until oil is hot. I've used OA before, and noted that the fuel dilution was significantly higher than BS. Fuel dilution is, unfortunately, a fact of life with these engines. But with the price point of PUP, I have no issue just changing every 5k.

FYI: Civic Sport Touring 6M 4/17/25 sample was AMSOIL Signature Series 0w20, oil was changed the same date. Also, a Hondata pump gas tune was flashed to the ECU right before the April oil change, was stock prior to that.

I'm running 50:50 E0 90 oct and 100LL (Avgas) in a SBC, running Amsoil Z-rod 10w30. Should I be concerned about the bromide salts from the Avgas causing corrosion during storage? Will be stored from Nov.-April. I typically fog engines before storage, or run them every 3 weeks at partial throttle...
