    Any Ghost Stories?

I have an old family cemetery on my 3.6 acres from the 1820's-1850's. There are roughly 15 headstones on the corner of my property, mostly all headstones are legible. You can see my house to the left. I have 3 children, ages 8, 5, 3. -A few years ago our oldest child has said to my wife...

    Lots of options! 205/65/16

I went a different direction due to a new promotion. I went with a 90k Hankook Kinergy tire through Discount Tire. They price matched @ $122 per, $80 mail-in manufacture rebate, and 5% off for military. I'm looking at about $450 OTD for a 90k mile warrantied tire. They will provide free...

    Lots of options! 205/65/16

I suppose: tire mileage/duration of service would be my #1 factor, then #2 comfort/road noise, #3 adverse weather

    Lots of options! 205/65/16

My wifes 2023 Camry hybrid with 23k miles is ready for tires....I do drive aggressively and rotate the tires as recommended. I have a slew of 70k-75k mile tires and would like help to pick one! I'll be using Discount Tire as they're local to me and offer a military discount. The convenience...

kia engine issues...really serious or overinflated?

I had a 2013 Hyundai GT with the 1.8 motor. It had a loud piston slap noise about 1/2 the time. I sold it at 88k trouble free miles. I did bring it to a Hyundai dealer and they said the noise was "normal." I made sure that the notes indicated the noise I was hearing. A TSB was later...

    2011 Silverado 6.2l 6l80 upgrades?

What would the cost be to rebuild and ship a 6L80 unit out with all these upgrades? What does this additional cost gain you in reliability/ longevity vs. a GM reman unit? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the new remans have a different torque convertor and updated internals? How would this...

    Post Your RV w/Tow Vehicle

We pull a 2018 Forest River Shamrock 233s. It's 4960lbs dry. One slide and 3 queen size bed pop outs. It works well for our family of 5 and is small enough to get into the majority of parks. I use a Curt weight distribution/anti-sway set up, which has worked great thus far. Camping is something...

Welp my truck just "dropped" a lifter

I'm shocked that you all were able to get it done in 2.5 hours. You pulled the intake/head and reassembled? I bet that would take me 10 hours, especially working in the awkward forward leaning position!

What exactly was replaced? Just the failed lifter? You work with some good people!

Sticking brake caliper while out of town...

I don't recall it pushing back easy. I use a L piece of steel and a C clamp to push the piston back. I went from almost no pad left to new pads...

Welp my truck just "dropped" a lifter

As an owner of a truck with the 5.3 and AFM, this issue bothers me! There doesn't really appear to be any particular reason for a lifter to collapse...I'll continue changing the oil every 5k and keep my fingers crossed! I'm sorry that you're dealing with this...

Sticking brake caliper while out of town...

I just did the front/rear pads myself about 3k miles ago... Maybe I caused the issue??? I always lube the slides and everything looked good when I changed them out.
