Hey everyone so I ended up switching to PU 5w-30 with the oem oil filter. I had a sudden drop in overall mpg. It went from 23.5mg to 19.5mpg. Any ideas as to why would there be such a drastic drop?
Is the PU 5w30? Sorry for a dumb question have to make sure which one to use? Also would you mind what filter do you use that is relatively cheaper? and better in quality?
Well my warranty expired couple months ago so its time for a switch :)I think I might give a Pennzoil Ultra oil a try. whats the interval for that? Also is it okay to use the oem filter with this oil? Thanks
Thanks for the tips. They are very helpful. As far as the oil goes they said they use the Valvoline 5w-30 and its not synthetic. Would you guys suggest I stick with this until the warranty expires? Or should I make the switch to using the Mobil 1 Extended Performance oil, Pennzoil Ultra.
