For my Explorer I use 5w30 truck and suv and my truck I use 0w20 truck and suv. What do you mean when you say android 12 lube? I've thought about changing to a little thicker oil in my truck since I'm running boost now but I wasn't sure if I should!

Sorry also I've used the same WIX oil filter in the explorer and K&N oil filter in my truck!

Wow thank you for all the replies! I did order an oil analysis kit so I hope it will shed some light on what happened! I think I'll do my truck oil first since I haven't drained the Pennzoil ultra yet but now I'm scared to run it in my explorer! I do one with the Mobil 1 and post the results...
