Well if a frog had wings he wouldn’t bump his arse every time he jumps. I have a weight distribution hitch that I use. I have to use a 2.5 to 2” adapter with it and also use shims to take some of the slack out of it. It’s a PIA to install the thing and I keep a tapered punch to wiggle in the pin...
I just ran T6 5-40 for 264 hours straight in a single cylinder generator and it didn’t explode. Didn’t use any either. If it was foaming that bad the oil dipper engine would be dead. It’s not.
I have run the NAPA oil for an OCI in my Cummins and I couldn’t tell any difference between it and VPBEX. Didn’t do a VOA or UOA so I really don’t know if there’s a difference or not.
The MO-235 is the same filter as the LF 3972 FleetGuard filter with a paint job. They are available on line for about 1/2 the price of the Mopar filter at Walmart. The Stratapore LF16035 is a good option and is about the same price as the Walmart option online.
They say putting moth balls around under there will keep them out.
I live in a rural area so varmints abound but my cats keep them run off. Mice won’t come around where a cat has been hanging out.
When I owned my 2018 Ram 6.7, I contacted FCA about their increasing the OCI time period for the 2019 model year. 2013-2018 was limited to 6 months/7500 miles and 2019+ was or is 12 months/15,000 miles. I was told to stay with the 6mo/7500 mile regiment by FCA.
1 maintenance minder? Looks like a very good filter. Been thinking about using these filters for my Cummins with the appropriate number of course. Looks a lot like the FleetGuard filters I presently use.
