A little sloppy on the glue and pleat spacing but definitely not bad for the price. I do wish they would clarify the micron rating on the "96.5% dirt removal power" claim. I'd run one without hesitation though. Thanks!

I've cut a couple of these and ran one on my car, it held up really well. Not the most efficient but I think they're a great little filter for the price. Thanks for the C&P 👍

Agreed, they help mask the issue vs the metal endcaps.

I usually do but the extra plate above the base plate made it quite difficult. I sacrificed a couple of red shop towels instead of bothering with it for this particular filter.

I have the ST3614 on my car right now. Nearly time to pull it and do a C&P. I also have a Champ made PH3614 awaiting installation. I just checked the ADBV on mine and the holes look well covered. Don't know if I'd use them on the regular instead of a PG filter but I do like the eCore design...

Also need to make a correction to my original post. I mistakenly said that I used an Ecogard x2222 when it was actually a s2222.

Those would be the boxes from the replacement filters I used. I threw the used filters in them prior to cutting. I did 4 oil changes that day so I had stuff all over the place.
