Thanks everyone for all the replies. I am leaning heavy towards Fram Ultra. I had overlooked Fram in general due to mostly negative reviews about their lower quality options, had never heard of the Ultra version until these forums.

I know this will be a highly opinionated thread, but who makes the best engine oil filter right now? And if possible, what reasons make them the best?

I've seen comparisons before that say NAPA Gold and WIX are the same oil filter, but have saw stuff coming more recently that say they are no longer the same. Does anyone have a for sure answer?
