Yeah Toyota isn’t impressing me lately either. Seems every month there is a group of recalls into the hundreds of thousands from an array of auto makers. The push for meeting efficiency standards has engines and transmissions pushing the limits
Working night stock at a grocery store putting myself through college taught me this about bleach. We had to rotate it religiously. Hydrogen peroxide is the same. Once it’s opened it just lasts weeks. So go to the medicine cabinet and pitch it lol.
I have a Electrolux front loader new washer...
I’ve been running ESP 0w-30 in my 2023 Grand Cherokee since after the first “free” dealership oil change at 5k miles. This gives extra protection for the 3.6 and puts it on the same oil as the GTI so it simplifies the oil stash.

The current used market is nothing like I’ve seen before. This past year I decided to downsize my number of cars as needs have changed. The first one to go was the 2012 ford transit Connect with 225k miles. I put in a few pictures and very accurate description on Facebook and after checking KBB...
If I were to go the smaller suv route I would have to wait till later this year and check out the Tiguan Turbo. On this refresh the interior is very nice and the “turbo” option gives serious hp upgrade which the Tiguan has needed for years.
If you’re not replacing it every time then I think the fiber is getting oil soaked during removal and leading to the seeping once it’s torqued back down. But I may be wrong as I’ve never seen this type of washer before.
